Buy it … you’ll like it — really. Meet our first E-Town tees
Our first batch of tees, back in 2017, included designs featuring Hershey, Harrisburg, Lancaster and York.
I thought we would get hyper-local from there, right down to obscure places such as The Brogue in York County.
The reality is that our best sellers have been the ones with statewide appeal, such as Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, Pennsylvania Craft Beer and Pennsylvania Bigfoot Believers.
It makes sense given that we’ve mostly lived a peripatetic pop-up existence, participating in shows throughout south-central Pennsylvania and sometimes as far away as State College and Bucks County.
But when we opened our Hershey store in 2024, we bulked up our offering of Hershey tees. And with our move to Elizabethtown, we couldn’t arrive empty-handed.
We recently introduced our first four E-Town designs.
Baum’s Bologna
While most of our tees feature original artwork, we have carried throwback designs for years, honoring cool brands of yore that deserve a second act.
So it is with Baum’s Bologna, which Daniel F. and E. Mae Baum founded in 1920. An advertisement in 1978 claimed that Baum’s sweet bologna was the No. 1-selling in the world.
Although Baum’s closed in 1984, the brand is still produced by Seltzer’s in Palmyra.
E-Town Express
True to its description, “The heart of central Pennsylvania,” Elizabethtown sits between Lancaster and Harrisburg, with York to the south and Hershey to the north.
For centuries, travelers have passed through E-Town. The borough's oldest building, at 56 N. Market St., sold cider and beer under the name Sign of the Bear Tavern in the 1700s. Today, E-Town remains an important transportation hub, with its Amtrak station serving nearly 60,000 passengers in fiscal 2025.
Our E-Town Express Tee is a symbol of the movement, connection and accessibility that have been hallmarks of this crossroads community since its founding.
Vitamin E-Town
If Vitamin E is good for skin health, then Vitamin E-Town is good for the soul.
“Daily dose of small-town pride,” reads the copy on the apothecary bottle that adorns this design.
The heraldic bear is a nod to the Sign of the Bear Tavern, while the diamond shape reflects the town’s layout, with its central square and angled corner plazas at Market and High streets.
Ooh! Aah! E-Town!
We love it when our designs tell a story, but sometimes it’s as basic as having a little fun.
There’s just something infectious about the rising, celebratory cadence of Ooh! Aah! E-Town! You can practically hear a crowd chanting it after a hometown touchdown.
Like generations before us, Stay has found its way to E-Town. You’ll find our new collection of tees and many more designs at our store, 206 S. Market St., or right here.
