For our website, it’s a new Stay rising

In the background, a subtle nod to our hometown with old maps and images of Hershey, Pa.

Like the making of sausage and legislation, redesigning our website wasn’t always pretty.

It involved plenty of fits and starts across too many months, and I threw a few fits over it, but all’s well that ends well. If you are reading this, then welcome to the new stayapparel.com.

Of course, it’s an ever-evolving thing, and we will continually strive to make it better. For instance, we are in dire need of original photography for some of our more recent designs, not to mention those that will come in 2024. (Regarding photography, see “I threw a few fits” above; I’ll tell you about it over beers sometime.)

But this update represents a significant milestone in year seven of the Stay journey for three key reasons:

  • It offers a fresh look considering that we launched our original site in October 2017.

  • It is easier to navigate, especially on mobile devices, which is where, increasingly, the action is. Retail sales reportedly are growing twice as fast for mobile vs. laptops and desktop devices.

  • Beyond the aesthetics, we should see improved search engine optimization results, which should boost traffic to stayapparel.com.

Ultimately, it comes down to delivering a top-notch experience to shoppers while staying true to our Made in USA ethos.

We’ll continue to add value via our blog, including more “tale of the tee” features, and to promote American-made products through our Made in USA Shopping Directory, which comprises nearly 200 American retailers and manufacturers committed to delivering American-made products. We’re always looking to add to the list and welcome suggested additions at hello@stayapparel.com.

Thank you for visiting the new-and-improved stayapparel.com. As always, we hope you enjoy your Stay!
