Flying Puck Tee
Decades before protective netting arrived in rinks, hockey fans had to pay attention or risk the wrath of vulcanized rubber.
At Hershey Sports Arena, later Hersheypark Arena, a sign hanging above the ice at “The Old Barn” in 1956 read:
“Spectators are warned of danger from a flying puck. Injury may result from failure to protect yourself.”
We’ve re-created that sign on this tee, in white ink on a black shirt. It’s made from 100 percent cotton, 4.4-ounce fabric, so way softer than a hockey puck.
