Harrisburg War Eagles Tee

They’ve watched over Pennsylvania’s capital in Harrisburg since 1930, two 254-ton limestone eagles at the west entrance to the Sailors’ and Soldiers’ Memorial Bridge.

Together with the pylons on which the Harrisburg War Eagles rest, the monoliths rise taller than the Statue of Liberty. The eagles are approximately half the height of George Washington’s head on Mount Rushmore.
