The puck dropped on Hershey’s rich hockey history on Feb. 18, 1931, when a couple of college teams, Penn AC and Villanova, faced off at the Ice Palace. Professional hockey debuted in 1932 and has competed ever since, across nine decades, three pro leagues and three rinks.
