Our new Penna. Tee pays homage to a common Keystone State abbreviation that fell out of favor in 1963. That’s when the U.S. Post Office, as it was known then, adopted two-letter state abbreviations without periods as part of its Zone Improvement Plan, or ZIP, Code.
