Makers at the Museum kicks off its 2026 season on April 19
American/folk artist John Rossey will help kick off our
2026 season on April 19 at the Hershey History Center.
Baseball returns in earnest in April, and so does our artisan market, Makers at the Museum.
And like the national pastime, which breaks for its all-star game in July, we’re dividing our season into two halves.
The spring dates are April 19, May 17 and June 14. We’ll bypass the unforgiving heat of summer and return with shows on Sept. 20, Oct. 18 and Nov. 15. (Each date links to its unique Facebook event, where you’ll find the most current information about the vendor lineup and other details.)
As with the 15 markets we have hosted since this series began in July 2024, all shows will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the front lawn of the Hershey History Center, 40 Northeast Drive, Hershey, across from Starbucks and the Tanger outlets.
Admission is free, and parking abounds.
April lineup
The April 19 show will feature talented artisans, some of whom have joined us previously as well as new faces that will help keep everything fresh.
The talented John Rossey will bring his Americana/folk artist stylings to a couple hours of live music. We’ll also be joined by Sleepy Kitty Facepaint, Fantasy Faces and More balloon animals, and street poet S.J. Lynne.
Crazy Goat will be our food and beverage vendor.
The Stay store, toward the back of the history center, and the history center’s museum and 1729 Shop will be open. (The museum charges for admission; children 3 and younger are free.)
We accept artisan vendors on a rolling basis, and spaces are still available. To apply, visit here.
We’re looking forward to seeing you at Makers at the Museum throughout the year.
