Decades before protective netting arrived in rinks, hockey fans had to pay attention or risk the wrath of vulcanized rubber.
At Hershey Sports Arena, later Hersheypark Arena, a sign hanging above the ice at “The Old Barn” in 1956 read:
“Spectators are warned of danger from a flying puck. Injury may result from failure to protect yourself.”
We’ve re-created that sign on a felt banner , measuring 12 inches by 24 inches, that’s perfect for your fan cave. The banner features black screen-printed text on cream felt bordered in black felt. Four grommets make for easy hanging.
Be sure to check out the original Flying Puck Tee, too.
